Nobody keeps a mental tally, nobody gets home to a surprise Venmo request, and the money that's left over at the end is right there on the record to send back evenly.
The planner holds the money the way she always did, the difference is that now everyone sees every dollar, so trust never gets tested.
Get the girls committed before you book
Everyone's in the group chat saying yes, and then the Airbnb deposit is due and it goes silent. Don't let it. Each person saves a card and promises her share of the trip now, with no charge yet.
Cards only run once enough of you are actually in for the trip to happen, and then they all charge at once, so nobody fronts the house and nobody can quietly disappear on you.
