Is TableCash a bank or a wallet?

No. TableCash never holds, routes, or transmits money. Stripe moves and holds all the money — contributions go directly to the organizer's own Stripe account. The app is the interface and the record, the same model as Splitwise (a ledger) combined with GoFundMe (destination charges).

Who controls the money in a TableCash table?

The creator of the table — one trusted organizer. Contributions land with them, and they approve every request before anything leaves. Everyone in the table can see who chipped in, what went out, and what's left.

What does TableCash cost?

The app is free on iOS and Android. Chipping in carries a card fee of 3% plus $0.79 on top of the amount, so the table receives the full amount. Standard cash-out to the organizer's bank is free; instant cash-out is 5% plus $1.50.
